It's that time of year again - Saturday March 26th at 8:30pm is Earth Hour.

For those of you who don't know about Earth Hour it's a worldwide movement where people switch of the power for one hour. You  might ask how much energy is saved by switching everything off for one hour, but it's more than that - it's a politic statement, a social, cultural and environmental statement...

Yes folks it's nearly time for Earth Hour again. Earth Hour takes place on Saturday night at 8:30pm local time so whether you're in  Sydney, London, New York or Los Angeles at 8:30pm your time it's time to switch the lights out.

It's been on facebook, and now Google have turned the lights out. It's Earth Hour, tonight 8pm-9pm GMT or whatever time that equates to in your part of the world.

All you have to do is turn off the lights and "see the difference you can make".

It's got to be better than E-Day which was an abysmal failure.
